A small historical reference
Ganja - the second largest city of Azerbaijan, located on the west of the country, at the foot of the Lesser Caucasus, on the river Ganjachay. Date of foundation and the first written mention - 660 years. With the development of Ganja built palaces, bridges, caravanserais and began to mint money. Iron, copper, aluminous and other mines located near Ganja, supplied craftsmen with raw materials.
