History of city Agdam (Akna) in photos

A small historical reference

Agdam - the center of Agdam region of Azerbaijan, located in the south-west of the country, at the eastern foot of Karabakh mountain range. Date of establishment - XVIII century. "Ar ladies" is translated from Azerbaijani as "white roof". Today, the entire town destroyed except for the great mosque in the city center (built in 1868-1870 by the architect Kerbalai Sefi Khan Garabagi).
