A small historical reference

Ainazi - Salacgriva town in the province of Latvia, located on the coast of the Gulf of Riga, near the border with Estonia. The smallest city in the whole of Vidzeme and the cradle of the Latvian Maritime. Until 1917 Ainazi wore German name Gaynash (germ. Haynasch, also Hainasch).

Attractions - Museum of Naval School and Fire Museum.
