A small historical reference
Bobruisk - the center of Bobruisk district, Mogilev region, located in the central part of the Republic Belarus, on the Berezina river. Leads the origin of the village, whose inhabitants are engaged in fishing and beaver fishing. The first written mention of the village (Bobrowski, Bobrusek, Bobruesk) - 1387, since 1795 - a district city of Minsk province. In 1810 it built a fortress Bobruisk.
